Geordie McPhedran graduated from Camosun College with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic and Exercise Therapy and was certified as an Athletic Therapist in 2018.
As a student, he enjoyed practicums with Rugby Canada, UVIC Rugby, and the Castaway Wanderers Rugby clubs. Since certifying, he operated his own clinical practice, Return to Play Athletic Therapy, and worked with BC Rugby, multiple teams from the CDI Premier League and the CSSHL, Taekwondo Canada and the White Caps FC Academy.
While Geordie has extensive experience with athletes, he enjoys working with any population. He is motivated to help you to rehabilitate to a point where you can excel whether it be at work or play. With an evidence-based approach, he will guide you through your recovery and give you the tools to continue to strengthen long after you leave the clinic.
When not in the clinic Geordie can be found spending time with friends and family, skiing, curling, or pursuing his lifelong passion of rock climbing. He first started climbing in 2002 and continues train and climb regularly. While in school he completed a research project on grip strength training for climbers and regularly implements this knowledge into his own training.
